We had such a lovely gathering at Arden’s first Australia's Biggest Morning Tea on Thursday 27 May. Over one hundred parents, friends, staff and alumni came together at both campuses to share a cup of tea and raise funds for cancer research. Through online donations and cash donations taken on the day, we raised a total of $1980 which has been donated to the Cancer Council to assist their life saving research. Cancer has touched our School Community and we were blessed to have a current parent and staff member, Mrs Nicola MacGee, share her personal journey with us. Thank you Nicola for sharing your story so openly and honestly and for urging us all to get regular check-ups. A big thank you also to our Arden Parent Network volunteers for helping us set-up, decorate and raise awareness for this event, as well as our AV Manager, Nathan Bull, for the live broadcast between both campuses. We will continue to hold this event each year to raise awareness and funds for cancer research.
