Alumni share career stories as 'Living Library' for Year 10 students

Alumni sharing their career stories with our Year 10 students.
Alumni sharing their career stories with our Year 10 students.

No cover letter was required when 14 alumni joined our Year 10 students at their ‘Be Connected to My Future’ Day.

Instead, our alumni were themselves the ‘Living Library’, an incredible resource of study and career options for students determining the pathways to their future.

Each alumni shared their education and work story so far, while groups of students asked questions as they spoke.

What a generous gift from these 14 young people to our Year 10 students!

The Living Library will be held again next year as part of the annual ‘Be Connected to My Future’ Day. If you are interested in sharing your career story, please contact alumni@arden.nsw.edu.au

We are grateful to the following alumni for their contribution this year:

Tim Duncan (2020), Maja Pavic (2017), Hayley Middleton (2015), Tylah McConnell (2013), Cordealia Evans (2018), Ashleigh Lister (2014), Blake Jeffery (2010), Thomas Congerton (2017), Emma Petterson (2013), Elise Brush (Webb) (2015), Tim Webb (2009), Tim Barbarino (2009), Lauren Wood (2020) and Alessandra Dimarco (2016).

Look out for more about this great event in our next newsletter!

Have your say
